Cancellation & Refund Policy

Tread Palace LLC understands that schedules and vehicle needs can change. This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, deposits, tire orders, and completed automotive services are handled.

APPOINTMENT CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING
Customers may cancel or reschedule by calling or texting (803) 335-5967 or emailing treadpalacellc@gmail.com. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Appointments canceled at least 24 hours in advance are eligible for a refund of prepaid service charges or may be rescheduled without penalty. Appointments canceled less than 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled once at Tread Palace LLC’s discretion, with any deposit or prepaid service charge applied to the rescheduled appointment. Repeated late cancellations may result in loss of the deposit or prepaid charge. Refunds are not provided for missed appointments or cancellations after the scheduled start time.

LATE ARRIVALS
Customers should contact us if they expect to be late. A late arrival may reduce the available service time or require rescheduling. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be treated as a late cancellation if the work cannot be completed within the remaining time.

CANCELLATIONS BY TREAD PALACE LLC
We may cancel or reschedule because of weather, equipment problems, staffing, parts availability, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If we cancel, the customer may select another appointment or receive a full refund of prepaid service charges. We are not responsible for incidental expenses caused by a canceled or delayed appointment.

INSPECTIONS AND DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES
Inspection and diagnostic charges cover technician time, testing, research, and professional evaluation. These charges are earned once the work begins and are generally nonrefundable. An inspection or diagnosis does not guarantee that every existing or future problem will be identified, particularly when a problem is intermittent, concealed, or requires further disassembly or testing. No additional repair will be performed without customer approval.

REPAIR AUTHORIZATION AND ESTIMATES
Customers will be informed of anticipated services and charges before work begins. Additional repairs or charges require customer authorization. Estimates are based on observable conditions and available information. If a customer cancels after diagnosis, disassembly, parts ordering, or repair work begins, the customer remains responsible for diagnostic charges, labor performed, installed or ordered parts, applicable supplier charges, and necessary reassembly or disclosed storage charges.

TIRE INSTALLATION APPOINTMENTS
Tire installation is $40 per tire. Customers must select the correct quantity when booking. When tires are purchased from Tread Palace LLC, installation quantity must equal the number of tires purchased. Incorrect quantities may delay service or require additional payment. Installation charges become nonrefundable after work begins. A verified installation error by Tread Palace LLC will be inspected and corrected without additional labor charge.

TIRE AND PARTS ORDERS
Orders may be canceled for a full refund before supplier processing begins. After processing, special-order, custom, discontinued, clearance, or vehicle-specific items may be nonrefundable. Canceled orders may be reduced by shipping, return freight, restocking, or supplier fees. Tires or parts that have been mounted, installed, altered, damaged, driven on, or used generally cannot be returned unless defective or covered by an applicable warranty. Eligible unused returns require prior approval, original packaging, labels, and proof of purchase, and remain subject to supplier requirements.

COMPLETED SERVICES
Labor and completed services are generally nonrefundable once properly performed. Customers with concerns should contact us promptly and allow a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle. If a problem resulted directly from our workmanship, we may correct the affected work without additional labor charge. We are not responsible for unrelated or preexisting problems, normal wear, customer-supplied parts, misuse, accidents, racing, neglect, unauthorized modifications, another repair provider’s work, or continued vehicle operation after a safety warning.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS AND WARRANTIES
Defective tires and parts may be covered by manufacturer or distributor warranties. Eligibility, inspections, exclusions, prorated adjustments, labor coverage, and replacement decisions follow the applicable warranty. Unless included, diagnostic labor, removal, installation, balancing, alignment, towing, taxes, shipping, and related charges may remain the customer’s responsibility.

CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED PARTS
Customer-supplied tires and parts are not covered by a Tread Palace LLC product warranty unless agreed otherwise in writing. Customers are responsible for compatibility, condition, completeness, and safety. Labor remains payable if a supplied item is incorrect, defective, incomplete, unsafe, or later fails.

REFUND PROCESSING
Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method. Timing depends on the payment provider and financial institution. Properly disclosed processing, shipping, supplier, return-freight, or restocking charges may be deducted. Cash purchases may be refunded by business check or another reasonable method. Technicians and service vehicles do not issue cash refunds.

CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
Customers should contact Tread Palace LLC before initiating a chargeback so we can investigate. A chargeback does not cancel amounts legitimately owed for authorized products or completed services.

POLICY EXCEPTIONS
Tread Palace LLC may approve reasonable exceptions based on the circumstances. One exception does not change the policy or require the same outcome elsewhere. Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable rights under applicable law.
